Mars does have seasons. There is the already known spring, summer, autumn, winter and two additional ones, perihelion and aphelion. These 6 seasons are caused by Mars and its highly elliptical (egg shaped) orbit.
Why does Mars have six seasons?
As well as Earth Mars axis is tilted away from the sun making Spring the longest season on the northern hemisphere. A Martian year is 687 days long which makes seasons last longer.
